Will YJ shackles fit on a CJ?

I have a friend who did a shackle lift and I thought I would buy his old shackles from him. He has a YJ. The shackles that I have on my CJ are starting to look like swiss cheese because of rust. Does anyone know if they will fit?

They're two piece shackles, so you should be able to use the front also, just may need to get 1/2" shorter bolts.

yes the SHACKLES will fit but i think you need to retain/obtain the CJ BUSHINGS because the YJ springs/bushings are bigger.

someone please correct me if i am wrong
