Has anyone out there used Rust-Oleum equivalent to RhinoLiner or Line-X? I've found a good deal on Rust Oleum "Road Warrior". It's a 2 part, rubberized epoxy based coating. My only concern is that it says it's rubberized...are the other products like this? I want a tough, hard surface. Any info, good or bad? Any one have experience with this particular name brand?

thanks!

Is it a spray on or roll on? I assume it's something you apply yourself, unlike Rhino or Line-X where you have them apply it? I went with Herculiner, a roll on DIY product. For the price at the time it seemed like a good idea, but for the long haul, I personally think it sucks. If I had the money, I would of gone with Line-X. Especially after watching the demo on Trucks TV a few months back.

IMHO, Herculiner is good for what it is. It's relatively cheap, and easy to apply. I took everything out of the interior of my Jeep and cleaned the whole inside and prepped it just as they directed. I rolled it on and it came out great looking. It still looks pretty good. But the stuff cannot take a shot. I've dropped things on it and had stuff scrape across it and it peels up. High wear areas don't hold up well either, like around my door jams and where my feet are at. I know others have had similar experiences, and I also know others have had great experiences. It is good stuff, and for the price, it works alright. But if you're going to possibly be abusing it much, plan on buying a small can of it to repair somewhat frequently.

Re: Rust-Oleum equivalent to Line-X or Rhino Linin

It was a special in The Sportsman Guide, part of the buyer club specials. It was $26 for 1 gal. and it was rolled on.
