no seriously though, I will tell you this, I know you want to get more power, look at me however, I threw so much money into my quad,and it is amazing how much I regret it every second of my life...
Dont start throwing mulla into your 300, yeah buy a filter, maybe a pipe, but be done....
The powerkit is a jet kit, filter, outerwear, and recharger kit...you might as well get it, because your not going to know what size jets to put in your atv, the jet kit comes with more than enough...but you may loose money...
the recharger is just a cleaner, you will eventually need it, so just get the powerkit...
If you get a pipe or think you will, you will be prepared with your jet kit
outerwear...why not?
dont make the same mistake I did, here is some pictures of my 300, for performance stuff, it has nothing internal but has no choke, 42 pilot jet, 126 main, bigger needle, filter with outerwear, no airbox lid, Full Yoshimura exhaust....good enought for me
K&N with an outerwear is the best filter IMO for air flow....but if you live in real dusty conditions
or in the desert go with a foam filter...UNI....
I remeber with the air box lid ON, and the K&N filter I could easily get the wheels up in 2nd wihtout jetting it where as I couldnt even come close before
...I thought it was surprising too....
Now I can get the wheels up in 4th on dirt with a tug....jeeeez I am so cool
