Laws in florida? they make those up after the fact. Pregnant flares count if they can determine your intent.

Hey- I live in Bradenton(aka Borington)- the town above Sarasotya(aka Sorrysota). There are NO lift laws down here. You dont have to cover your tires up either. This is both a good and a bad thing. You can lift anything to fit 44" tires (Look out for the white Samuri running those, he's a little "tippy") and you can do it anyway you want to. On the bad side, some guys will go SOA, put 4" lift blocks on all four springs, and put on a 4" body lift, etc... with pretty much no steering mods to boot /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif Watch out for the sweet-looking Red and White classic Ford on 40" tires- his drag link is at about a 45 degree angle to the tie-rod. I swear if he hits a cat his truck will end up in a ditch or on its side! UM... plenty of trucks with no beds down here too. Just the bare frame and a cab! Thats what I wanted to hear(not about the 4inch blocks) because when I come down I am going to live with my aunt in Venice untill I find an Apartment. The laws are bad here in NJ you are allowed a 33" tire on a jeep and it is not allowed to stick out more than an inch

I haven't checked in several years, but Fl did at one time have laws concerning max headlight, tail light (I think it was something like 56")and bumper heigh (I think it was around 28 of 29). Also tires were not supposed to stick out over a certian amount. IF you wanted to you could also get into a tire width/weight thing. The only laws that I am aware of being enforced were the head light and bumper height laws. Got to thinking that was 16 years ago. Man time flies.
