Re: \"Craftsman\" tools

Actually, Craftsman are made by Danaher tool. The sane company that make NAPA hand tool, and K-D tools, and Armstrong tools ( I doubt you have heard of them ). The Craftsman are less expensive then NAPA, so go with Craftsman.

Thanks, Ray

Re: \"Craftsman\" tools

I took a screwdriver back with a 90 degree bend in it. Obviously done by using it not for what it was intended. A 3/4-1/2 inch socket reducer and a torque wrench that was melted and had burnt spots on it from arcing the connections on the cylinoid of my 78' starter:) Replaced all with no question.

Re: \"Craftsman\" tools

Good luck trying to take Snap-on screwdrivers back to the Snap-on man here! He has the same standard excuse "Can't replace a screwdriver thats been used as a prybar/chisel" Thats why my box is now full of great Sears Craftsman tools! I'h sold on 'em also!

(cool) '87 Chevy 1/2t SWB in the making!

Re: \"Craftsman\" tools

I go to garage sales and stuff and ask if they have any tools...if they say yes and they are too high ask them if you can have this busted rachet...they don't even notice its craftsman...and take it back and get a new one! Works great....
