95 Wrangler Tach

This is my first Jeep and need an opinion about the tach. It reads only 1500 to 1800 rpms at 60 mph or so in 5th gear. It is a 6 cyl with a 5 speed. Is this a normal rpm reading or is the tach broken?

Need some more info here. What size tires and what gears in the axles?

I'm pretty sure it is all factory. Tires are 15's.

That sounds about right if you're running 31" tires and 3.55(?) gears. My guess is the tach is working o.k..
