You won't be able to use the O/D when towing anyway, so I'd go for the TH350. It will live behind a big-block. I have a TH700 in my '90 GMC & despite stock tires (265/75R16) & the lowest available gears (3.73), O/D is strictly for no-load, 70mph plus. 4th makes the 3.73's effectively like 2.61's, so unless you're geared REAL low, you'd never really get any advantage out of the O/D even for driving around without the trailer.

Ditto, you don't use the overdrive when you tow anyway and my personal opinion is 700R4's are bad news and cost way too much when they break which is frequently for most. TH350's or a TH400 would be better behind a big block.
