2500 Leaf Springs in a 1500?

I have a 97 K1500. I have a chance to buy a set of rear leaf springs off a 2002 GMC 2500. They say they will fit 88-2004 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton. There are two reasons I am looking at these. 1, after installing the 14-bolt, my rear now sits lower because the spring perches on the axle weren't as tall as the ones on my 10 bolt. 2, my original springs are sagging and one side sits 1/2" lower than the other.

Anyone know for sure if these will fit? The other question is will these give me more height (lift) than the orginal 1500 springs?

Thanks,
Harmsie

My buddy just put 3/4 ton spring on his 1/2 ton but its a 96 body style with same year springs. Im not sure if the springs are the same lenth. If it does fit then it will give you a extra 1" or so lift, and keep it from sagging when loaded.

Thanks for the info guys. I would measure them, but I would need something to compare them to. The 2500 springs are off the truck and mine are on the truck, plus I have a 1.5" add-a-leaf in mine. I think I'm just gonna get them.
