with an air filter on a 300ex u will barely notice anything at all, u might get 1 more hp...which isn't anything. The power up kit isn't worth the money either...not on an air cooled 4 stroke...just keep it how it is, ride it, and have fun man.

no seriously though, I will tell you this, I know you want to get more power, look at me however, I threw so much money into my quad,and it is amazing how much I regret it every second of my life...

Dont start throwing mulla into your 300, yeah buy a filter, maybe a pipe, but be done....
The powerkit is a jet kit, filter, outerwear, and recharger kit...you might as well get it, because your not going to know what size jets to put in your atv, the jet kit comes with more than enough...but you may loose money...

the recharger is just a cleaner, you will eventually need it, so just get the powerkit...
If you get a pipe or think you will, you will be prepared with your jet kit

outerwear...why not?

dont make the same mistake I did, here is some pictures of my 300, for performance stuff, it has nothing internal but has no choke, 42 pilot jet, 126 main, bigger needle, filter with outerwear, no airbox lid, Full Yoshimura exhaust....good enought for me

K&N with an outerwear is the best filter IMO for air flow....but if you live in real dusty conditions

or in the desert go with a foam filter...UNI....

I remeber with the air box lid ON, and the K&N filter I could easily get the wheels up in 2nd wihtout jetting it where as I couldnt even come close before

...I thought it was surprising too....

Now I can get the wheels up in 4th on dirt with a tug....jeeeez I am so cool

Some guy came today intrested in buying my 300 for quite a bit of money, I turned him down, because I am keeping it....but cr250 is still coming real soon, best of both worlds....2 stroke/4 stroke and 2 wheels/4 wheels

 

I do have to give credit where it's due...for a 300ex, that is one nice peice of poo

i dont think the 400ex a-arms will work because when me and my friend are ridin around and are just sitting around, they look the same, i would preferebly buy a-arms from the big dealers that sell a-arms, but if u want to put the 400ex arms on, it would fit, but i dont really think there is much of a difference

 

listen to 300exrider, he sure knows his stuff bout those 300's from top to bottom. what does that rm 250 have on it?
