90cc 2 Stroke Eton Viper carb question

Just started today. Quad starts and idles perfectly but when you give it gas it falls on its face. As soon as you let go of the throttle it to idle its fine but as soon as you hit the gas it falls on its face again. My son was riding if for about an hour and it just started happening. Any thoughts.

Definitely a carb problem. Try blocking off part of the air intake where it comes in from the air filter. If it makes a difference then the carb has either an air leak or the main jet is partially plugged.
