Suzuki LT50 Hop-Ups

Alright,After a full day testing I finally got my sons LT50 running as it should. To start with I removed the intake restricter, and opened the air cleaner cover inlet with 3/4" pvc pipe. I like this better than drilling holes in the cover, This way it still has some protection from water and mud. Next, I removed the stock pipe/silencer and installed the new FMF pipe/silencer. You will need to re-jet for your area, We live near Sacramento, CA. and it gets hot in the summer. We are using a 67.5 main jet and the stock pilet jet, next I moved the needle clip to the #2 position (#2 is counting from the long end up). While I know there are more motor mods I can make, I think this is a great improvment over stock without overdoing it. My son rode all day and said it felt like I bought him a new quad. Now he's happy and I'm happy. Good luck, Todd

Re: Suzuki LT50 Hop-Ups

What size FMF pipe did you install on your LT50?

Re: Suzuki LT50 Hop-Ups

As far as I know, they only make one pipe for the LT50. It came as one unit, Pipe and Silencer (Turbinecore2 w/spark arrester). I ordered it from a local shop for about $150. There were no instructions about re-jetting, so I had to find out for myself as you read earlier. Todd
