LTA 50 performance

My six year old son has a two month old LTA 50. I removed the exhaust restrictor as soon as I got it home and the thumb screw has been wide open for the past few weeks. I have read that the lt 50 had a restrictor in the intake. Does anyone know if the lta 50 has the same restrictor in the intake. If not, does anyone know of any other simple performance mods that can be done cheaply as we have bought four fourwheelers this summer we don't want to spend alot of money making it go fast. Thanks Mike.

Re: LTA 50 performance

Just do a search under LTA 50 in the last few months. That should get you started.

There is a restrictor in the intake. CT Racing makes a performance pipe for the LT50.

Re: LTA 50 performance

I had to drill mine out on the drill press and it seems to make a difference. But I still think we were robbed. My son is 5 and prefers the predator 90.
