<font color="purple"> I have a 7 yr old who has been riding ATV's for 3 yrs and now wants to start racing.

We live in Washington State and I have no idea where to start or even look. Could someone please push me in the right direction.

Re: How to start racing

We just atarted our 7 year old racing hear in Pennsylvania. While the district and state rules will probably be different a good place to start to look for info is from the AMA ( In our area we had to join district 5. Our district has a website with a listing of all race schedules, results &amp; rules. There is alot of info to absorb---we are just learning as we go.

There is nothing like it though. He is having a great time. This is only his third week. The first track we went to gave a trophy to all the kids in his class. He came in 5th out of 10. We practically had to pry the trophy out of his hands. It's time consuming &amp; costs a good bit, but the fun that he has is worth it.

I hope this helps.
