Kasea 50\'s Fuel leak FIRE! FIRE !

I had dealer in Arkansas say they are burning up.He had a melted one in the back.Needless to say he is no longer a Kasea Dealer.
Has any one else seen or heard of this?
It is my understanding that although Kasea has a few shortcomings when compared with others(see etonamerica.com)they generally are pretty dependable.

Gopro,

Instead of posting your BS on this WEb site, why don't you simply crawl back into your hole and stay.

If you are going to post BS, present all the facts.

For example,

Post the name of the dealer,
The date of the "loss,"
The reported cause of the fire,
The model of the machine.

I have seen fires on many machines. Usually they are caused by over filling the tank on a hot engine, not tightening the cap properly, having some idiot perform service improperly, etc.

Re: Kasea 50\'s Fuel leak FIRE! FIRE !

gopro,

People come onto this site for detailed information on youth atvs they own or are considering purchasing. You apparently are trying to sway people away from the best youth atv on the market, the Kasea. Like Tim said, why don't you provide more information on yourself so we know who you are. My guess is that you are a sore Eton dealer that can't sell any bikes because everyone wants a Kasea. As for the fire issue, like Raptor said, anything can catch on fire (cars, motorcycles, boats, atvs, planes, microwaves and powerwheel jeeps). All you have to do is be a total idiot.

Changing from a Kasea dealer to Eton or ???

Well, I know that Kasea has pulled many dealerships simply because the people did not know what they were doing. It was giving Kasea a bad name. At the same time, you have some companies that will go upside down to get their junk on the market. The dealer is interested in profit not quaility. In such a case, I guess you could push Eton.

Re: Kasea 50\'s Fuel leak FIRE! FIRE !

Wrong answer, dude. I Know Greg at Autovend. It was a KS65 that caught fire due to a leaking petcock. Kasea has discontinued this model. It was not a Skyhawk 50. So, get your facts straight before you try blowing smoke.

Re: Kasea 50\'s Fuel leak FIRE! FIRE !

Hey,thanks for clearing that up.
So it was the KS65 that had a problem catching on fire.
Amazing Tpny.raptor and all the othe Kasea experts on this forum have never heard of this.
Or ,like yourself found it easier to bash my credibility instead of stating the facts.
In the future why not post the facts as you know them.
I may have got the model wrong but the DANGER remains very real for those that own these models.
What is Kasea doing about the ones they sold?

Re: Kasea 50\'s Fuel leak FIRE! FIRE !

Tony,
I appreciate your candor. However let me take a moment to review these posts...
Detailed info:
FACT-KASEA did have a Fuel leak that caused fires to start on one particular model ,the KS65
Fact-when I posted it was the Skyhawk-50 I was talking trash and my posts had no merit.
Fact-You or RAPTOR720 or Masterwrench found it easier,or convenient to insult me
rather than to state the facts as you know them..
Knowing the whole time the problem not only existed but was so extreme a danger that Kasea discontinued that model.
Now,I ask of you -who is guilty of spreading mis-information -me?or all of you KASEA experts that choose to ignore real dangers and therefore mislead potential buyers of real risk?
Y'all obviously have some vested interest in KASEA,great, just don't ignore safety issues that could harm children!!!!
