Raptor 80

I have a Raptor 80 that we are flat track raceing. I put 15x8x8 tires on it and a K&N filter. But now it cuts out and chokes at 3/4 to full throttle. Is it the RPM limiter of the jetting due to the increase air flow. If its the jetting, where can I get the jets at for this atv and do I need to go larger or smaller? Thankfull for any help.

Re: Raptor 80

You have added alot more air capacity to the little engine. Your main jet is now way too small. The last 4 stroke 80/90cc engine I jetted was the XR80. It required a different needle, main and pilot jet with the air cleaner and pipe mod.
You are not hitting the rpm limiter or experiencing valve float on the 80. It is simply too lean. You should be able to get it going with a needle height adjustment and main jet change.
