Re: RM370...need silencer

An '82' RM370? As far as I know, the RM370's were only made in 1976 and 1977. I had a 77, great bike, very torquey machine. I had lots of fun on that thing. As to a silencer though, if you can't find one new, use an aftermarket model. Or, you could cut the thing open and try to repack it, then seal it up again. I have a YZ465 that is louder than heck because the packing is all blown out. But I cut it open and stuffed fiberglass in, and resealed it with RTV and wired a beer can over the cut. You can't see the beer can unless you look under the rear fender, so it looks okay. It's possible that I would be considered a redneck, but, who cares? Tank

Re: RM370...need silencer

If you want a new silencer then try DG Performance or Pro-Form Racing. Both do re-buildable silencers that will fit the stock pipe.
