Re: ITP 589s Question

They Probalby wont fit the rims.
But i managed to fit 28x11x12 rear on me stock rims which previously had 26x10x12. Might work, www.tiresunlimeted.com is a good site to look around, and you could email the bloke their 2 see.

Re: ITP 589s Question

Also I am trying to make my own diamond plate skids for the '03 Yama Kodiak 450. If anyone has or knows where I can get a layout or picture of one on a newer (03 or newer)Kodiak post here.

Re: ITP 589s Question

%*('s are probably just a bit heavy for a Kodiak to get any real performance.

Look at a lighter, but still aggressive tread pattern.

Look to radials like the Mudlite XTR or the ITP ATR or the new carlisle that is coming on the outlander xt's.

I have 26" Trail Breakers on my 94 Kodiak and the performance is fine. But mine is the older version with a gear box instead of belt, with 5 speeds high & 5 speeds low there is definatly not a lack of torque. And those tires will fit fine on your rims
