HONDA 200 brake repair
I usually drive a Honda 300 fourtrax 1995 model. But I have a 1996 Honda Fourtrax 200 Type II out in the shed that still runs...but the brakes are locked up on it. I figured there wasn't any sense in letting the 200 rot away in the shed while it still runs so i decided to fix it up.

My problem is...I can't get the brake drum off. I got the cover off...and I got the little rubber seal out from between the drum and axle. I still can't get the drum to come off. HELP.

I'm having the same problem, how did you ever get the drum off?

Re: HONDA 200 brake repair
The trouble could be that the drum has a groove worn (or actually, not worn) into it from the shoes. Therefore, the shoes get caught by the lip left on the inside of the drum, and you can't pull it off. Notice the rubber plugs on the outside face of the drums. Remove them, then adjust the shoes in by turning the adjuster screws with a screwdriver. Then, you should be able to pull the drums off fairly easily.
