Wolverine Tires?

I have a 03 wolverine and am looking to get new tires, but am not sure what size. my buddy just put 25x8 in the front and 25x10 on the rear(swamp witch). the rear tires are about 1 1/2 in away from the lower fender mount, but that is the only real close spot. I was thinking of going with 26x10 front and rear. does any one have experience with this kind of setup or have a wolverine with bigger tires?
THANKS scott MO

Re: Wolverine Tires?

I would stay with 25's or smaller if you trail ride and those big tires start to really do a number on the drive train you end up with no power too trying to spin them. it also get reallly tippy with big tires i tried 25's on 12 inch rims on mine ended up going back and gettin 10 inch douglas .190's with 23-11-10 on the back and 489 23-8-12s on the front worked nice for fast trail ridin and mud...

Re: Wolverine Tires?

Not only that, but you will notice a signifigant amount of travel loss with the bigger tires, although maybe not as much with the Wolverine. It has kinda a unique suspension. Try it and see how it works
