Trying to decide

I am trying to decide between a Rubicon 5oo and a Prairie 650 and a Grizzly 660.
I need it for work and play.
But my main concern is being able to work.
I am a lil worried about belt drives.

Can anyone give me soma advice?

Re: Trying to decide

If I were u i would go for the rubicon. It's a honda and its the best. If u don't like honda it is a close call between that and the grizzly 660. The grizzly has in/out 4wd and the rubicon doesnt. Did u check the foreman ES yet. That is what im planning to get. Good luck.

Re: Trying to decide

I just went through the same descision...I read every thing
I could find for about 3-4 months....rode all of them talked to all the different dealers and people who owned them all...the general idea of all I talked to that did not own the prairie 650 said if they had it to do over again they would get the prairie....so i bought one 2 weeks
ago....and am very happy with my purchase...I like the look
of the grizzly but LOVE the power of the prairie the motor
is silky smooth and more powerful than i ever imagined it could be....the honda's are not play machines....they suck at playing....and the 2001 400ex that i bought new sucked it was a lemon from day one....so i get tired of hearing how bullet proof honda is....they are NOT bulletproof...
that piece of @#$% i had was full of bullet holes....am I glad to be rid of it !

prairie = you can't go wrong with the best motor
grizzly = if you have to have irs
honda = = don't even consider it

Re: Trying to decide

Hey just because you had bad luck with a honda 400ex doesn`t mean that all honda`s are crap so its not fair to say that cause many people love honda`s including me but i also own a yamaha wolverine which i like very much so quit talking crap about honda`s!!!!!!!! Re: Trying to decide

I ride with a guy who has a prairie 400 & it kicks ass,I ride a polaris 700 so it doesn't kick my ass but I'm impressed with it , very squirrely in the trails. but he loves it 3 yrs with no problems. Now he wants to get the 650...

Re: Trying to decide

I would go with the Honda, if only one person had a little trouble that isn't to bad. I have two Hondas and have family that own seven Hondas and have NOT had any problems with them. They all get rode hard and put away wet and still keep on going. I do have family that owns a few different brands and have had quite a bit of trouble.
So as for me, Hondas have been bullet proof.

Re: Trying to decide

Go with the Kawasaki 650, it has the best motor for play or work, a locking front diff, and it is very dependable.
