Mounting an antenna on roof rack, is it possible?

Hello there. I am kind of confuse it it's possible to mount an antenna on top of this
?

Would I still need this Metro Molded Antenna Mount Bushing? Opinions please..Thanks in advance.

Yes its possible but there must be a outsource that can be taken to the player in your car or else there is no use of puting antenna on roof rail.
