Shop hoists

Looking for examples of shop hoists. I recently purchased a 2200 lb truck style lift. This is off of the back of a work truck. The stans is kinda short so mounting it on the floor is out, contemplating something like a engine hoist but with the 12v hoist and boom attached. I will most likely change my mind 10 times before I do anything with this.

Ya only go around once, best to enjoy it the first trip.

I use an aluminum I-beam lag bolted into the garage ceiling as a monorail with a 500 lb. cap. electric wire rope hoist on it's own rolling trolley. I'm only lifting stuff like rotary tables, indexers, and lathe chucks so 500 lb. is fine, I could see this setup being able to lift a lot more with a bigger hoist.
