Re: boggers or claws

Boggers are street legal as they sit. Get a second pair of used tires for trips etc. Some tire shops will true the boggers to take the high spots out of them. This makes them last longer. Boggers work well at 5psi trail pressure and 20 psi highway. Rotate them frequently. Only use these tires if you aren't commuting in the truck. Not a street tire due to the noise. Excellent offroad, second only to a Tera tire. Boggers have been narrowed recently so they will measure narrower then posted width, this is to decrease the chance of the tire splitting.

Re: boggers or claws

If you want something that will last forever and do awesome off-road, go with the Super Swampers SSRs. They'll last forever and will clobber the baja claws off-road. Just my 2cents. Marc

Re: boggers or claws

I would love a set of 39.5 boggers too but there damn exspensive $329. I had a set of 35's and they are great but did wear out quickly but with a bigger tire you get a longer life since it takes less revolutions per mile than a smaller tire... I still would get another set though. I'm running the 38.5 sx's and so far they're great and wearing good. I do alot of driving so boggers died quickly but keep air pressure correct to the trucks weight and they will last longer... Got mud!!!!!!
