A guy in Salt Lake City has a flattie with a stainless steel body. The bodies are made in the Phillipines. Trust me, the Phillipinos are crazier about Jeeps than anyone.

When I was a little younger( high school) I restored a '52 CJ-3a. I bought a new body from Acme jeep bodies. As I remember the regular body was $1200. They offered the stainless steel body for about $2000. It really would have been awesome to have been able to get that, but just could not afford it.Is Acme still in business? They would be the ones to ask. BTW my new CJ3a body eventually rusted out. Shoulda Woulda Coulda....
