Hey John, long time no speak! /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif

Well, I've have a few ideas, less time, and fewer dollars.../wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif I have to pay off the Amex bill, first... UGH! /wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif Plus, the prototype product I'm working on is a time hog!

The 4" bumpstop extenders stop me from ripping up the tires on the actual fender, so most of the HORRIBLE scraping noise is coming from the plastic flares. The tires are sticking out almost 6", plus the broken windshield.. well, I'm a ticket waiting to happen. /wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif

Basically, I'm going to leave the fenders as is (AFRAID TO CUT!) /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif and just buy Xenon flares. I saw some on a YJ in my area, and they don't seem to be as flat as the Warn's... Based on someones comments here, I'm staying away from the Steelhorse product. I really think the diamondplate fenders are overkill... esp on a dark blue beast.... So, that covers the law: once I add the JKS 1.25" body lift, I should be covered!

Ok... enough of a rant...
BTW: I'm thinking of a Miller Jeep trail run on the FOOL'S day, with one night of camping... (i.e.: 4/1/2000)... if you & your club are interested...

So you ordered the body lift too? How long did they tell you the wait was? A couple of weeks ago they quoted me 4-6 weeks. I'll be picking up a set of Currie 1" motor mount lifts and some boomerang shackles while I'm at it.

Are you going to go with TJ flares while you're at it? If you gotta buy new ones anyway, why not get a bigger wheel opening at the same time?

As for Miller Jeep, I wish /wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif! I'm just about better from my accident back in December, but my wife isn't yet. It's a family thing, I don't wheel without her /wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif and I'm hoping she will be ready for the club trip to Calico at the end of April. You interested in going on that one?

Nope, no body lift, either. Those rims & tires cost a LOT of cash. To avoid finance charges, I put 'em on the Amex. OUCH. That's a LOT of cash to pay off in one month. So much for eating this month!/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif

Hmmm... Calico. As in Stoddard Wells OHV area? I'm 90% in. /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif Thanks for the invite!

Next month, my wife's company gave us a trip (GOD, I love to brag about that!/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif), so there's my body lift cash... Anyways. I just rub for now...

I hear you about the outlay of cash for tires and rims. I just put on 5 new 31x10.50 Yokohama Geolander M/T's and AR 767's.

That body lift is only $77 plus shipping, but then there's the Currie motor mount lift for $80 (free shipping there/wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif)

I'm gonna do the boomerang shackle's at the same time, and those won't cost more than $140 plus tax (4WPW price). I'm talking to a guy who has a set that he never used, just gotta see what he wants for them.
