Put my lift on years ago, and got an alignment. But my steering wheel was still off to the left quite a bit. I took off the steering wheel and tried to get it straightened out that way, and it helped a little, but it's still not straight.
The Jeep tracks straight and doesnt wander.

So here's the dumb question...can I adjust one of the linkages down near the front axle to fix this situation, tie rod or something? Please be specific if you can, I dont really know much about the steering system. What kind of tools do I need. I've dont lots of repairs, just plain dumb when it comes to steering. Also, after I do this, will my alignment be off?
Thanks for your patience and any help you can give!

Same problem on my YJ. The guys who did the alignment couldn't tighten or loosen the drag link enough though. From what they told me you don't want to crank the he11 out of it or you'll end up needing alignments more often. Thier advice was to pull the steering wheel and straighten it. Worked better in my opinion.
