Nope. Never did on mine. The rear springs are the same width and the fronts are only going to overhang the pearches by 1/4" on each side. JKS makes a skid plate for the front that allows you to use Wrangler springs on the front of a CJ.
YJ springs are great for an SOA on a CJ.
You will need a wider spring hanger in the front....I used stock rear spring hangers and moved them forward 1".
Has anyone done a step-by-step guide to the SOA conversion using the YJ spings on a CJ5? Yes, I am too lazy at the moment to search for it... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/40BEER.gif
