I don't argue politics, religion, or basketball here in one of the notches of the bible belt.
I do, however, engage in Ford Vs. Chevy, Dogs Vs. Cats, and Hamsters Vs. Gerbils arguments.
Once in a while I will get into a Budwiser Vs. Coors debate, but only if there is free beer involved, preferably on a Sunday...

I wish you another 1,000 or 1,000,000 or so postings.
You always seem to have something important or relevant to say, and unlike me, you seem to get along with everybody, and can put things into terms that even the most inexperienced beginner can understand.
I do believe you are a credit to the human race in general, and a massive resource to this data base. Keep up the good work!

But you know,... the fact is that your posts are usually quite good. You have a lot of good, engine-bustin', high revvin', deep muddin' experience that most of us don't have. Practically every sport/hobby has it's ideosyncrasies that you can't know unless yew been thar n' done thet. THAT'S what makes this BBS so valuable, the incredible storehouse of knowledge that is out there in the minds of the posters; it just amazes (and humbles) me sometimes./wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif Our CJ project has changed SO MUCH as a result of what I have learned from this board. Of course we would have had it running LONG AGO if it weren't for doing all the many extra upgrades that we learned about

Yeah, when I got close to 1,000, I started checking profiles to see if maybe you, Sandman 454, Sean, CB77, or any of the others I see on here a lot had gotten there yet. Nope. Just me. I think mine piled up so quick because of my varied interests. I've always been into mud & have enjoyed trails as well (unfortunately, I no longer live near any). Started wheelin' with a GMC, then 2 CJ5's, & now a Toyota pickup. And the Toy is Chevy-powered, so I know a thing or two about engine swaps. So, it seems that the posts that apply directly to me are numerous & varied. And since I've held continuous club membership for more than a dozen years, if it doesn't apply to me, it probably does to someone I know. Mainly though, I just enjoy talkin' about 4x4's /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif!

Yes, I do have a line at work, and work is right here in my home office, on the second floor, right over the huge garage area where I work on our CJ. Jeepchick is my "young" wife, and has a career that is diametrically opposite to mine so she leaves each day while I am "in" doing reports, or "out" finding trouble for my clients. Tomorrow it is off to a Hospital client for their annual inspection and generator tests. Since we live at 4500 FT Elev up here in the woods, snow is our big problem, so we are building the ultimate SNOJEEP for Jeepchick. I drive a '97 ZJ with the 242 case and NOBODY drives by me in the white stuff. Of course this year we don't HAVE any white stuff. We can't BUY a snowstorm this year. Maybe it's because the SNOJEEP isn't finished??/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif
