Im looking into buying an earily model Yahama Warrior, stripping it down, and building it up to play with in the desert. I was wondering what the aftermarket is like for the warrior. What mods can be made to gain suspension travel. Does anyone make long travel arms for warriors? To the best of my knowledge the Warrior hadn't been changed much since its introduction in '87? What differences (if any) exist throughout the years? What year would be the best to build?

change is small for the warrior...the plastic changed, the lights did too, and other little suff....there are a arms and shocks that will give more travel out there..there is tons of after-market stuff for is a good ride...

I believe Timmy Boy makes arms, works and others make resivoired shocks. Dura Blue makes the axle.
