I appologize because I doubt this post belongs in this forum, but I am desperate. I am a Co-Leader of a University team that builds and races an off-road, amphibious vehicle and we often use ATV parts for our suspension and drivetrains. We are using the outboard CVs from a 2004 Yamaha Grizzly and we need to get the shafts out of the CV. Yamaha refused to let me talk to anyone with any technical knowledge and my local dealer does not know how to get them apart. We have looked at part drawings and part lists and it looks like it should come out with some pressure, but pressure doesn't seem to work. Does anyone have any idea how to get the shaft out of the CV???? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated, once again I appologize for posting in the wrong forum
