I wish I was reporting on how the 297 series Summit heat treated maganese steel alloy U-joints look, but instead I have to tell anyone that cares that Summit gave me the wrong part number. The U-joints I got were for a 260 series Dana 30. I'm sorry to say that they weren't as beefy as I had hoped either, the cross just didn't have the meat that a Spicer 260 series has. I'm sending them back and I'll get a set of 297 series U-joints in about a week. The cross on the 297s is a lot bigger, and hopefully it will have more meat on it. Anyways, I'll let you know in a week or so.

BTW, the U-joints are still cheaper than Spicers, so I figure I'll put them in my Wife's Jimmy with the wimpy GM 10 bolts if they don't look like they are a match for the Spicers.
