Good info - thanks. I figured since it was doing it under the same condition that it mite be a sensor altho I also guessed maybe the computer or maybe the coil. But I'll try the check engine routine - which is about as much fun as programing a vcr - and see what I get. Again thanks for the tips
I'm still think electrical, not fuel but I'll also check the fuel pump wiring cuz that sounds like a common problem amongst Jeeps even if its not the problem right now. Oops wait a minute that sounds dangerously close to preventative maintainence. Never mind.
