Wrangler Question

My neighbor has a stock 90 Wrangler with an inline 6. Periodically, while driving down the road it just quits. No sputtering, no roughness, it just shuts down as if someone shut the key off.

Pull over shut the key off, turn the key back on and start and you are back in business. I have my own theories as to what may be wrong but thot I'd throw it out to the group for any thots/recommendations.

Had a guy over on Southern Jeeps with the exact same problem- ended up being the wiring to the fuel pump had worn through just enough to short on bumps-

Ive seen this topic come up numerous times, and 8 out of 10 times it always ends up electrical- anything from the relay underhood, to a loose wire on the pump in the tank. Even had one that was in the column- bad keyswitch/ignition.
