will the the wrangler heater blower motor fit into an 86 cj tub without enlarging the hole, I am aware of the blazer motor swap, but it might be less of a pain to drop the yj motor in the whole. thanks

I used a '94 YJ blower motor in a '84 CJ-7, the hole in the firewall has to be slightly enlarged for the motor to fit (I used a die-grinder but a large rounded medium toothed hand file will work fine). It fit the heater housing perfectly and I had to remove the YJ electrical connector so the wire would go thru the firewall and crimped on connectors for the ground and power wires. It is much stronger than the stock motor and I feel it was worth opening up the hole in the firewall for the results. Hope this helps, good luck!
