My wipers stop (CJ)after working for
a breif period. I give the windshield frame a good rap at the base on the inside,
and they wipe a few times and then stop again always on the down rest.
Motor is good, Is the linkage bent?
I see a lil flexing on the outside where the wiper enter the frame
on the drivers side. What could be causing this?

Possible Problems;

1. Flex in the windshield frame.
Solution: Put a metal "Brace" or stiffener around each wiper shaft.

2. Binding Shaft and Linkage bearings and shafts.
Solutions: Clean and lube all moving parts.

The wiper motor may not be grounded properly. After my tub swap it took some adjustments to get them to work consistantly. The motor was not tight against the frame. The rubber gasket was not allowing the motor to touch the frame. They work great now.

I thought about the grounding thing and put star washers on the screws that dig into the metal frame, not the solution
Sprayed lube on the pivoit ponts this AM and that didnt fix it either
Getting me down
Next suggestion?
