Winch Front or Rear Mount

I am mounting a PTO driven winch on my '55 CJ5. Any opinions on the advantages/disadvantages of a front or rear mount ?

/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif If you go in the rear, the pto setup is simpler because there is more room. A rear winch drags you back where you came from. A front winch helps you get where you are going./wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif I saw a setup where the guy had a tunnel longways through the jeep to run the cable in case he needed to pull from the other end./wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif
