Winch bumper vs Multi-Mount

Personally I like the hitch on the front. This has always seemed the most versitle to me and you can also control your weight loads and theft easier. Plus you can throw on a ball and launch or load a boat or position a trailer SOOOOOOOOOO much easier when you're facing it.
I'm going with the multi mount. AJ is building me a front bumper with a hitch. I'll be able to keep it at home when I'm not wheelin so it doesn't get stolen. I also run some tight trails where it would be easier to move the winch to the back than to turn around to winch some one else over an obstacle.
I've read that you get better approach angles with a winch bumper than you do with a multi mount attached. but you could always put it on just when you need it. But if you do that it's posible to get stuck where there is no room to attach a multi mount.
I think if it's your daily driver go with the multi mount. If it's a trail rig go with the winch bumper.

get the hitch
1 - you can store your winch in a safe place while not wheelin becuase its easily removable
2- you can mount your winch in the back or front so if you get stuck and theres no trees in front of you then put in the back
3- its a great tow point becuase it spreads the load over your bumper mounts better than a stupid tow hook would that puts more pressure on one side
4- you can put one of those many different hitch accessories on the front like bike carriers fishing pole carriers flat storage for ice chest etc
5- you can park trailers and unload boats etc etc etc MUCH easier with them in front of you
6- its just cool to have a hitch up front
7- i have one built by aj that is now tied into an exo caged v8 rockwelled cherokee
