I am in the market for a winch. I like the Warn m8000 or X8000i and i have several questions:
-Is there a real difference between them that makes the X8K better?
-I will like to mail order, so who has the best price including delivery to Miami Fla? How much should i pay?
-Should I consider Ramsey or superwinch?

The difference is the integrated solenoid on the "x" model. It's easier to install, less wiring and figuring where to mount the solenoid box. Kind of a preference things as far as I'm concerned.
Try calling Bob Supplee at Supplee 4WD at (405) 799-8977. His prices are darned hard to beat and he gives free shipping.
As for other brands, that's up to you. I feel that any winch is better than no winch as long as it's strong enough to do the job. A faster line speed is important to some (Warn) and for some it's the price tag (Ramsey). Some just have to be different (Superwinch). That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!

who offers best price for Warn X8000i or M8000

Anybody done the homework? Who offers the best deal?

I have been wanting the winch for some time and my wife offered it as my birthday/christmas gift... Need to order ASAP before she changes her mind...

I just went through the same thing, and now have an 8000 lb Warn sitting in a closet until I get a mounting plate. See my previous post for the best deal I could find.
