if you look at a magazine that sells seats for Jeeps, it will tell you what fits where. Some YJ seats will fit a CJ, but
not all. TJ seats will definitely have to be adapted, and from experience I would try to find something that bolts
directly in.

The driver's side will bolt on without a problem (the slide bar brackets will split apart) However, because of the tilt frame of the CJ passenger side bracket, is narrower than the TJ seat, you will need 2 pieces of flat bar stock 18 inches long and about 1/8 inch thick. Drill these out to match the seats bolt holes then attach them to the bottom of the seat. From that point, its a matter of sizing the CJ tilt frame to the flat bar and four more holes to drill out along with some new bolts and your all set.
