factory tow hooks are weak ,your better off paying less money for beefy 10,000 or 15000 pound hooks at a 4x4 shop.and fab them into place. a friend of mine bought factory hooks from a dealer 110.00 uninstalled. and are only rated at 5000 lbs

I've noticed newer TJ's ('00's) sporting a factory rear tow hook.
Anyone know if I can buy one from the Jeep parts dealer & install on my 98 TJ without drilling?
