Why does it say polyurethane bushing kits don\'t work with fiberglass bodies?

i wsa reading in 4wd hardwares catalog about some new polyurethane bushings for my Jeep CJ7 project and noticed that it has written in red letters "will not work with fiberglass bodies". Why is this? Thanks

Poly is too strong and will not allow your body to flex causing cracks. You must use rubber. Get the long tube of rubber from 4whardware and cut the pucks to your desired length, but not too long.

Actually I have an extra tube of the rubber for the fiberglass body mounts. For some reason I bought an extra one. If you want I'l nock a few buck off what 4wd hardware sells it for and ship it to ya.

I have run poly body mount bushings on an AJs fiberglass tub for about seven years. I took it all back
apart about four years ago for painting and I would have noticed if there were any problems.
