swampers are made in a 32x11.5 size. and the are actually taller than most other brands 33s. give them a try.

I am using 8" rims. Dont get me wrong I can use narrow tires but I want to go as wide as possible for my stock rims.

You can run most 12.5 wide tires on a 8 inch wheel. or are you lacking room for the wider tire?

It's a back spacing issue with stock rims rubbing. I run 31x11.50 on stock 15x7's and had to add 3 washers to each side's steering stop to keep the tires off my springs

Okay. If it's a backspacing problem, I see the reason for the narrower tires.

What about Buckshots Radial Mudders??

Their 275x85x15 are close to 34" tall and almost 11" wide. I personally love this tire and most reviews I've read like them as well. But, I've also read that they could be a little better tire in the rocks.....

most of the buckshots i have seen wear very well. but that also means that they have a harder compound.

Thornbirds come in a 33x11.50 size.... Although I would look at the tread before I bought them. I just got a set of 33x12.50's and they have quite a bit more room between the lugs than the 33x10.50 (my spare). The 12.50 is altogether a different tire! The 10.50's side lugs are weenie the 12.50's are huge.... HTH

31.5\" x 9.6\" is...

the closest they have. They are 245x85x15's. I personally have a set of 315x85x15's on my Ranger and I love them. They have around 5,000 on them and still look new (unlike my 33" bias Swampers). I bought mine from National Tire & Wheel (http://www.natltire.com/) and haven't regretted it since.
