Ok I need new plug wires. Which kind do you guys run/ recomend? Advance says stock replacement is $25 a set, but I was looking at the Moroso Blue Max Spiral Core Plug Wires for $44 from JEGS. What do yall think?

On stock or mostly stock engines, I haven't noticed much difference between wires. I usually buy the cheap ones, but there is a definate quality difference. When you're buying bigger performance wires, the boots and ends aren't near as likely to come off as the cheap set. And, they seem to last longer. If you got the money to burn, I say buy the Morosos and let me know how they work out.

A bunch of the guys here steered me to Taylor Spiro a couple years ago and they have been excellent. I found a winning combination with the Champion Truck plugs, Taylor Spiro 8mm (I think they call them "Pro"), and MSD coil. I stayed with the Ford cap and rotor.

I have a set of MSD super-conductor wires on mine, the lowest resistance of any wire set w/o radio interference and i love em BUT $$$$, try 80 bucks a set.

Whatever you do, just dont buy ford motorsquirt (made in taiwan) 9mm racing wires
i went through three sets of them shooting lighting all over the place under my hood, still have the last set in the box in my garage with a bad #6 wire

Never tried MSD wires, but their coil is great.

One more vote for Taylor Spiro-Pros. These guys put me on to them and they're working great in my books. I love Jacobs too, but can't afford them anymore.
