Hey Josh, hows it going? I started college back up this semester and have 3 solid classes with sick homework. I work open to close on the weekends. Thats why ya dont see my around so much anymore. I just broke away last weekend and went to the desert for 3 days. Got to ride my Banshee, off road the truck, drink. It was a great release.

Im in Oceanside, (San Diego area). Where are you? What bike and truck do you have? How old?

Hey man. I am still a newbie. I am going to work for micki d's soon and save up till summer and try to get a nicer four wheeler than what i have, hopefully a banshee. Rigt now i have a yamaha 200, but it is a four stroke, and i am sick of four strokes. I am going to be 15 on december 17th. Don't have a car yet, really don't want one, wish they'd make four wheelers road legal out here. I am in Gillett, Pennsylvania. Man, you must have a crap load of homework for you not to be able to ride you banshee. I am in high school and think homework is rough here, HA! I guess I am going to get a kick in the ass when i get to college aren't I. I am hoping this summer to be able to ride out in oregon. My grandparents live in Oregon, so i would be able to visit and ride for a week or two prob. That is only if i have a four wheeler worth takin to the dunes by then. Well that is enough blibber blabber for me right now. Talk to ya later.

Yeahh, I am gonna hafta agree with ya'll...Cleartoy is quite smart (and passionate) about his quad. I know, I might be a little jaded towards him, and pro'ly have no business here anyway 'cuz it's gonna be quite a while before I can even think about thinking about a quad (shoot...I can't even go to the desert until around March, much less ride my own baby, the '80)...But still, I was and thought I would say something.
But really, ya'll wouldn't believe (no, maybe you would) the dedication and attention and care he puts into his Banshee, not to mention the intensity of (even watching) his ride. It's wnderful. He's a fun challenge to videotape.
I've never seen someone so "in his element" in the desert.
Even in his truck, or just hangin' out at the campsite, desert trips with him and an experience.
Geeze, I sound like a brochure...
Just my opinion. Am I outta line?

not out of line at all....I think cleartoy and I are similar...although he gets to go out to the desert...I do mostly trail rides here...and motocross tracks...a bit different of riding...but intense all the same....
When I am done riding, my baby is gone through and babied and hell I even talk to it...people think I am completely insane...ahahaha

ClearToy, I live in San Diego and just got back from Glamis on Sunday. Where do you go 4 Wheeling at? I did the Los Coyotes cleanup run a couple of weeks ago, were you there? I have a 84 4Runner sitting on 36 Swamper TSL's. There are some good places to wheel behind my house as well. Maybe we could get together some time for a wheeling or desert trip. I just finished my warrior and it could keep up with my friends Banshee. He could beat me in a straight out race but I could run with hime everywhere else. I put in a high rev cam, titanuim springs, 11:1 compression piston, K&N/pro-design filter system, 38mm carb, DG pipe and some mild port work. Really made a difference. Anyway don't mean to bable on (I'm a full time stay at home dad right now) but it would be nice to get out with soem of the people from the board if you have the time.

How was Glamis? Temp, and crowd? I went out the weekend before to an area inbetween Barstow and Las Vegas. Its not crowded, and there is sand. I go there when i can spend a 3 day weekend, as it is alittle over 200 miles.
If i just want to do an overnighter, i go to Ocotillo Wells, Palm Springs, or Ord Mountain in Lucerene Valley. Sometimes Santa Rosa Mountains. If i have a week, AZ.

I was not at Los Coyotes.

Im full time student M-Th and work, Fri-Sun. We will have to get together sometime for some wheeling and riding. I also got an 85 Toyota xtracab 4x4.
