Hey Guys,

I just bought a YORK compressor off of Ebay and the clutch may be bad. I dont have the unit yet to test it but might even wanna replace it anyhow to be safe. Anyone know where to get one? How Much are they? Ballpark? Diffucult to replace? Should i just look for another York and keep this one for parts??

If it needs a clutch go to any yard that has "older" cars. A new one (last time I bought one was $125 ) I hope you didn't pay very much /wwwthreads_images/icons/blush.gif because you can find the compressor (w/o 258/304 brackets) for next to nothing at any yard.
I sold the last one where I work for $20.

I knew everything when I was 16......How come I'm so stupid now?

the last new clutch I brought was $125, junk yards are just as good about $5. you could of brought the york with the clutch in a yard for $25. i got about forty clutch in my shed but they are for Nippondenso compressors. I wish they would work.
