Someone in the "Nightmare in AZ" thread posted that Dave is out of town on family business. I'm not sure what's up exactly. I have parts (CSC kit and driveshafts) on order with him also. I can understand that family comes first, so I'm in no hurry.

Flexensammy you should change your name to unwanted bitchin', cryin' sammy. You've said your piece, now let it go. Or try this...grow up! Dave did try to make it right with you, but I guess if you've never been late doing anything then you wouldn't understand. The man did say he was trying but was at the lowest point at that time.
Dave is out of town on family business, and as far as I know will be gone for the rest of the week.

Flex, how old are you? Either be a man and explain why you feel no one should deal with Dave, or quit posting silly little comments on this BBS.

I like WHININGSAMMY better.

Give it a rest, by now you'll probably realize you won't have any impact on Dave's reputation here. What did you think, that by coming here and slamming Dave, with no e-mail, no name, no previous posts, no reputation, and just your word that we'd believe you? That's a good one.

others might not. i have done lots of mail order buying had
small problems here & there but the suzuki family has always
gone out of their way to solve problems-i will always tell
people to use asian auto parts-rro-hawk suzuki-pierce manifolds and would also nco-off road tho i haven't used him
but know people who have-i make mistakes in planning how
long a project will take often- but in the end the finished
item is worth it. short answer quit bitching-oldzuki

Mark, my saying something might not mean anything to anyone here either, but ill fill you in on some things publically. I gave rueben the advise to use daveaz for a rebuild kit and he had the same problem. It took well over a month for him to recieve it and boy was he upset. He posted here about it and the reason was his wife was taken ill and he was considering quiting the business. This is fact, im not trying to offend anyone just pointing out what went on. What he said was really close to what he replied to flexinsammy's email as well and i find that odd. When rueben made that post, another person we know ordered a rebuild kit and it was shipped late and then wrong and incomplete, then when he got it the pistons where supposedly the cheapest taiwan crud on the market. I dont know cause i didnt see it. You can review that on the NE bbs if you want.

What bothers me is that i am torn by two sides. One I like dave as a zukin community guy, but his business has had repeated lackluster performence for several people I know. But i myself have not ordered from him, yet we have corresponded in email a few times and i have enjoyed that. He is a nice guy. Proffesionalism is another story, and i have heard both sides from other people on that.

The other part that is tearing me up is, Flexinzuki has stated his frustration poorly and it is considered flaming for its short text and unfounded because of his history with this board. If you turn down all the noise and crud floating around, there is a valid message, one that really isnt being heard this time, but has been put to this board before.

Its a shame stuff didnt work out for him, and that things are still bad for daveaz. I dont think anyone is looking for answers or for things to be fixed, he was just venting and trying to give a heads up at the same time. Im listening and reading it all and trying to trim it down for what it is. Just like that portaguese guy that got screwed on the snorkel and all the other stuff for messed up shipping and charges and whatnot. He was PISSED when he first wrote about it, but becuase that vendor had a previous reputation nobody said shut up to him. Dave is fairly new in the business and he is choosing the line he walks in this market. I hope the best for him, truely i do. I just would like to see thought out posts and less flames......

Dave,

I received the rear driveshaft on Wednesday. On Saturday we spoke on the phone and you told me you would send the front one with the rear. They were not together and I figured maybe the boxes got separated during shipping. I have been trying to call you to see if they both in fact were shipped. This is in no way a personal attack on you. you seem like a nice guy.

Dave leaves town (from Arizona to Iowa) on family business for a week and all hell breaks loose. /wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif
AAPA is a 1-man business (soon to expand, though) so you've gotta give the guy a break every once a while!
