Hey all, I just was curious about everyone elses name, what it stand for and where it came from. Like mine for instance, "85_4x4_350", I originally started coming here since my Chevy full size pickup needed lots of help...-still does!, but once I discovered the atv and dirtbike rooms I started to hang out there more since I understand them alot more then what a "Dana 44" is or how to go about changing your trucks gear ratios, plus I like helping the other guy out, especially if its a problem I had. -Mike

Shhhh, don't tell anyone, but I have been known to associate with the granola freaks out there...

My nickname came about about 8 years ago, I went down to Yosemite to do some big wall rock climbing. While in camp one evening we were approached by a kookie guy. He started telling all these stories about this and that. He offered to be like a porter and carry gear either up to the top of the climb(via other trails) or porter gear to the bottom for us. Well, my climbing buddies and I aren't exactly the super extreme type that would bivouac up on a climb, so gear was at a minimum. Well, anyways, this freak keeps talking about how all the Rangers are out to get everyone, and that "WE" have to stick together out in the BACKCOUNTRY...the whole trip home the joke was any variant that you can think of..."ya see out in the Backcountry we gotta stick together"... Needless to say that night we slept lightly and with a firm grip on the Glock...I still hike and climb in the Cascades of Washington, but have NEVER came across like anyone that wierdo...

joshisnuckinfutz it's both, that's the weird part, It's probally a common name. I know there is someone on the west coast that has the exact name as me, but in my case we're probally related in some way. Not too many with my last name.
