It is in a 77 CJ-7. it has 3 forward gears and one reverse. i read that it was a T-150, just judging by the year.

The T-case i believe is a Dana 20 from what ive read(p.side front out put). It's mated to a 258 I-6.
I think the front axle is a Dana 30(thanks for the correction)...?
Would the tranny bolt to a GM 350?

I don't think there is such a thing as a Dana 35 front axle, it's more likely a Dana 30. /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif

yes, you most likely have a T150 tranny, I do not think it will bolt to a 350 without an adapter, or somemodifications, and why would you want to?

it has the absolute crappiest 1st gear ever.
