ok so in 15 days ill be getting my dirty hands on a 2500$ credit card

what shall i do with it?

1. put about 1500$ down for a 2000-2002 tj, and the rest spend on my cherokee and get alot of work done to get her about 10-12 inches in the air

2. spend most of it all on my cherokee, and finish getting her full width and 10-12 inches in the air and some monster tires atleast 40s , radius front/3 link , 3 link rear with coils

my cherokee will be going that high and big no matter what, just one way it will get done sooner or later

lets hear your bashing and opinions

HOLY CRAP who in there right mind would give you a credit care is the fisrt question id have to ask?

Keep the money in your pocket till ya realllllllly need it. Trust me Ive had to file a BK a few years ago and its not fun.

But i know you to well so id stick to the XJ build up. Get your rig back on the road first. Its great to have a huge lift & tires but its no good without a motor!!! If your dead set on spending your dough then get the motor running & then worrie about all the other stuff later. Just rmemeber " If You Build It, The Girls Will Come" ( lol Nice choice of words huh?)

hahaha, you guys are great

the thing is i need a reliable daily driver becuase i drive 100 miles a day, i dont want to just throw my jeep back togeather real quick and have to worry about not being able to drive it while im building it. second i cant bring myself to buy a car for a daily driver i want another jeep, i also should be getting another credit card and i will have that one for emergencys. plus i can make good amount of payments on the credit card and if i get in a tight situation i can just pay the minimum payment. i cant get a loan for a cheap daily driver , the low finance people only do 99+ vehicles.

what do you guys think about this

I think you would have 2 broken down jeeps sitting in your yard is what i think........ If your dead set on a Jeep pick up a 2.8l 2wd XJ or MJ. Then later on down the road you can do the convertion to a 4wd on that. Ive seen a few really clean 2wd XJs & MJ around me for anywhere from &500 - $1000. Ckean good running and cheap on gas... Just food for thought...

I sure hate to bust yer bubble, but I would take the card to your bank and ask them to run the payments out and show you the total you will end up paying for the $2500. Best thing I've found a credit card good for is to get the frost off the windshield. I have a debit/ credit card and ONLY use it as credit as last resort.....best of luck to ya

10% interest for the first 6 months, i pay it off in 6 months it will only cost me 250$ for a 2500$ loan

if????? no no no, when is the better question

If I were in your shoes I would first(change my socks, man do your shoes stink.

JK)make sure my phone had a full charge on it. Then I would order as many catalogs as I could get, as quick as I could. Now I would wait by the mail box till they came, then I would get on a first name, invitation for thanksgiving/christmas dinner, basis with a parts man/woman. Spend it as fast as you can and dont look backIf you think about it you might regret it.

Cut the card up when you get it, dont use it. If you still want it, use it as a back up ONLY!!!! I had $3600 card once, spent most of it on tools, lots on drinks and dinners, lots on other crap I didnt need(have a very nice pair of biker boots
Image
) I did all this when I had a very high paying job, lost the job and couldnt make the payments. Now I am paying $50 a month on a $3600 card that now has a balance of $7300 for the rest of my life, one late missed payment my butts in court. Just be very careful with it...andy

here we are, now ive got two 2500$ cards coming for a total of 5000$ . andy dont worry i have lots of people that are in debt with their credit cards and they have nothing to show for it , everything i buy will be worth it. im gonna buy a brand new 360 v8 for my dodge for 1300$ with a 100k mile warranty so im gonna just skip buying a new vehicle. then im gonna buy prolly 2k $ worth of stuff for my jeep
shes gonna be on 40+ tires REAL soon

and the dodge already has about a 4-6 inch lift on her hehe

im gonna be SET

#19 ·
also, my cousin that has the same job as me and gets paid the same can afford a 2001 cellica gts for about 450$ a month, i can afford my 95 jeeps 190$ a month plus 200-300$ for the credit cards

and its a steady job , so instead of having a brand new car, ill have a jeep with a new motor and 10-12 inches of lift and a dodge with a brand new engine plus 36+ inch tires for less or the same as my cousin has just his brand new cellica

#23 ·
no imma get a motor for my dodge first so i can spend my time on my baby and get her full width and 10+ inches the right way , slowly but fast if you know what i mean

Just like NIKE. " JUST DO IT" i did the same thing when i was your age too. I had a bada$$ S10 prerunner at the age of 19. I must have dumped all my cards into building that thing. $7500 worth of lift/shocks/tires/rims/cage/motor work. 3 months after i had it all done i rolled it and ripped it to S**T. I was bummed and has a ton of bills to pay. All for nothing. Man i miss being young again.

UTAH well yes and no,it depends on the company that issue's the card. With some of the companies it's ok not to use it but with some other's they look at it as if the account is inactive and if you want to use it after a certain amount of time of no activity on the account you have to call them before you use it or when you try it won't recognize that you have an account with them.
