I got to witness this... The water was about 35 inches deep judging by how far it came up my tires on my commando. He was bailing water AND the carpet was still in.

Before I got my 84CJ as a trail jeep, I wheeled my 97 TJ... Been there, done that... I hated wheeling my daily driver...

That ain't so bad, when mine went swimming, I had a sheen of water over the engine. The only things that went bad was the throttle position sensor and the A/C clutch,....both fixed under warranty.
